6 brides, 6 styles: there's no one way to be a bride #Wedding Porn#bride in pants#chicago#couples of color#illinois#LGBTQ#short hair#styled shoot Posted Nov 6 2019 Catherine Clark bijouxandbits Photos by: Codillo Photography Photos by Codillo Photography Y'all know we've never taken the stance that there's one kind of bride or one way to be a bride. There's enough pressure to fit into a mold (emotionally AND physically!), and so much pressure not to be a certain way (pushy, a "bridezilla," a pushover, whatever). So when we spied this shoot showcasing six real brides rocking their own styles from traditional and whimsical to tattooed to sporting a dapper suit, we were SO in. The amazing vendors involved put out a call and found these six gorgeous people to highlight six very amazing ways to just be yourself as a person getting married. They were all comfortable in their own skin and proud to self-identify in all the ways you see here. Their personalities, environments, life experience, and obstacles they've faced have shaped them to be the brides they are today and we couldn't love it more.
