OMG ADORBZ: Barn Party invitations #Stuff we love#custom invitations#invitation packages#invitations Updated Oct 12 2015 (Posted Aug 1 2011) Ariel findyourafterglow Can we talk about these insanely adorable Barn Party! Wedding Invitations? First, the colors. We all know I'm a sucker for rainbows, and while this palette is a little bit washed out, it's still definitely rainbow-influenced. Second, the FONT. That font is workin' overtime to make these invitations feel timely and awesome. Third: PUT A BIRD ON IT! Since these are from Minted, you know they're quality — but you also know they're not bargain basement cheap, costing about 2.34 each. I guess the good news is that they're doing a deal: 10% Off at Minted: Use Code AFFL2011. Cuz, man: SO CUTE. I was already thinking of doing bird decorations, and I love bright colors and geometric designs. Too bad they're so expensive… Reply Love these invites! So cute! Would go great with this wedding cake: http://pinterest.com/pin/84898727/ And speaking of rainbows, think it would be great for someone to rock this hairstyle at an offbeat wedding: http://pinterest.com/pin/71578983/ Uh-mazing! Reply i used a similar font for my save the dates- i was looking for something just like this invite but found Bittersweet NT, which is like 90% the same (the "E"'s are rounded). free download > http://www.dafont.com/bittersweet.font Reply I don't want to take a load of business away from Minted, but since these are 2.34 each…. did you all know that WeddingChicks have a practically identical invitation suite in their free downloads section??? I was going to use their design but turns out H2B has an irrational hatred of bunting! Reply Thanks so much for the Wedding Chicks tip.. I have been searching high and low for affordable cute invites and those are EXACTLY what I was looking for! Reply I was just about to post this because I did a couple of mock ups with it myself! Here's the link: http://www.weddingchicks.com/freebies/invitation-suites/bunting-invitation-suite/ Reply I ordered samples of this invitation from Minted while they had a three-free-samples sale. I was really impressed with the quality of the entry-level paper; it's hefty! Plus, you can't see it in the above picture but you can get RAINBOW STRIPES printed on the back for an additional fee. I am more interested in it because we're having flags and bunting all over our wedding than because it has birds on it. The rainbow stripes and modern font are what sold me on it. We're also having a smallish wedding, about 85 invites being sent out, without directions cards or STDs. Reply Join the conversation Cancel ReplyYour email address will not be published.
