(And we've seen some Muppets!). A Muppet cake (with awesome sheet cake alternative), Muppet felt bouquets, doppelgänger hand puppets, and an ANIMAL BAND(!!) make Cristina and Trevor's wedding a total nostalgia-fest. There were even felt Muppet eyes and props for the photo booth. Plus, they totally embraced the colorful theme with their Technicolor outfits, especially Cristina's amazing emerald-green dress and shoes. The Mansion in Austin was a super cute backdrop that looks like a big piece of blue cake. I am so jealous of Ryan Green Photography for getting to see this first-hand. Feast your eyes and get smacked in the face with color! The prospect of having sheet cakes was making me wince (I associate them with bad grocery-store cake) and those are a cute alternative. Plus, more options for cake/frosting combos! Reply A Muppet wedding is definitely as offbeat as you get! Great write up! Reply Every so often I think, "you know, I've been married for over a year and a half, and we have a baby, and I've got a dissertation to write, maybe I should at least stop getting Offbeat Bride e-mailed to me." Omg your creativity is amazing, love love love it! Reply I can't think of a quirkier way to celebrate love for one another! This is such a fun ceremony, and so out of the ordinary…not one thing about this is like anything I've seen. Other than it being a wedding, of course. ha ha. All the colors and characters really gave the individuals included a chance to show what makes them special and different. On top of that, it shows their bravery to venture out of the norm… <3 Reply These photos make me feel extreme joy!
