I am crazy impressed with Wexford Jewelers. Impressed is an odd word to describe my reaction to our newest jewelry sponsor, I know. But the thing is, I work for a wedding blog, I see a LOT of jewelry — and I have NEVER seen anything like Wexford Jewelers designs.

- Finally their vintage pieces: the Art Deco-inspired Structured Collection, and The Vintage Collection — some rings were actually molded from existing antique pieces in order to preserve a bit of art history!
Nearly all of their metals and diamonds are post-consumer — lessening the impact on not only the mining industries, but the gem cutting and import industries as well. The rest of their colored gems are hand-selected from ethical sources the world over. To go an even further eco step, they can also use your heirloom gems in custom pieces.
In fact, their specialty is embedding a bit of your story into a custom piece. They just recently finished a ring carved of orchids for a customer, and included a tiny Mickey Mouse head tucked into a rose vine — both of those design requests reflected the couple's love story of the particular customer.
