Impressed is an odd word to describe my reaction to our newest jewelry sponsor, I know. But the thing is, I work for a wedding blog, I see a LOT of jewelry — and I have NEVER seen anything like Wexford Jewelers designs. Wanna feel impressed along with me? You will be when you see more of their designs and the special offer they have waiting for you at the end. Ooh, and you'll get a gander at the most badass BLACK wedding set that is really tempting my pocket book something fierce. Here's a perfect example of a ring from their Raw Collection -- the Raw Kenya Sapphire Storm Ring. Wexford Jewelers has built handmade wedding, engagement, and commitment rings for nearly two freaking decades in their Northern Michigan foundry. Their ring designs come in a dozen incredible collections: Wexford Jewelers is also featured in our Offbeat Vendors guide! Their flower-inspired collections are like metal gardens growing on your fingers: The Rose Collection, The Root Collection, The Organic Collection and The Garden Collection. Their more modern styles are space-inspired and full of sharp angles and sweeping lines: The Moon Collection, The Underground Collection, and The Motion Collection. Their organic collections are like one-of-kind art: The Melted Collection, The Clunkers Collection, and my favorite, The Raw Collection — pulled from the Earth and set directly into the metals they once shared ground with. Finally their vintage pieces: the Art Deco-inspired Structured Collection, and The Vintage Collection — some rings were actually molded from existing antique pieces in order to preserve a bit of art history! Here's a GORGEOUS leafy, sparkly wedding set from their Garden Collection. Nearly all of their metals and diamonds are post-consumer — lessening the impact on not only the mining industries, but the gem cutting and import industries as well. The rest of their colored gems are hand-selected from ethical sources the world over. To go an even further eco step, they can also use your heirloom gems in custom pieces. This black wedding set from their Melted Collection is my FAVORITE. I love the idea of black wedding rings! In fact, their specialty is embedding a bit of your story into a custom piece. They just recently finished a ring carved of orchids for a customer, and included a tiny Mickey Mouse head tucked into a rose vine — both of those design requests reflected the couple's love story of the particular customer. This is actually a wedding set! Click here if you're curious to see the two separate pieces. It's beautiful and perfect for me because the Wexford folks were totally willing to work with him to make it quintessentially me. Yay Wexford! Reply usually names like "cracked water", "Rhombic Dodecahedron", "radio signal", and more artful renaissance, etc are just fluff, but definitely nail the beauty of the creations! love LOVE the raw collection but "Haunted" was the true temptation for me. BEAUTIFUL jewels! Reply Wow, beautiful rings! Reply My ring is from wexford and I love love love it. Not only is the design out of this world but the quality and customer service is awesome! The 'somewhat formed sapphire' is now my drool-worthy ring. Must find more! Reply Beautiful, just gorgeous. Reply Weeelp I just found my new engagement ring since the only place that stocks the other one I wanted is dodgy. Somehow I cannot be sad about that anymore. Now I have the dilemma of narrowing it down to just one…WANT ALL THE RINGS! Reply ….And there goes a big chunk of my productive time today. 2 agree Reply Oh wow. And to think I told the boy I thought I had found my ring at Zale's. I'm in love, not only with their designs, but their prices which actually fall reasonably within our budget. Reply Mind = Blown. Reply I got my ring from Wexford before I saw this post and I LOVE it! They are great about customizing, too. 🙂 Reply SO WELL TIMED. Gentleman & I got engaged on Thursday and are on the market for rings 🙂 AND OMG THE TEA ROSE RING WITH PEARL SIDE ACCENTS is my love and my desire. Reply OH WOW. Already have my engagement ring but REALLY want to buy one of these for myself just b/c they are beautiful…oh my word, the "Melted" collection….droooool. Reply I have a totally stupid question. I want to look up wedding ring SETS as in a set of partner + partner rings. What is the correct term for this? I have just started looking at rings as I'm getting married next year and I want to get a matching set for TWO people. Reply I am utterly in love with those rings. My fiancee and I have started talking to one of their designers about custom wedding bands. Eeee! So glad I found this here! Reply I LOVE these guys!! My fiance purchased my engagement ring from them and I love it!! He got to customize it any everything for around $200. Its so gorgeous without being huge and gaudy. We're ordering the matching wedding band soon and I can't wait to see it put together! So excited!! *happydance* Reply AHHH, OMG HOW EXCITING! My engagement ring came from here, too! I love that they re-purpose vintage rings to use diamonds and such, so they're an ethical choice, too! Ah, how happy to see them on Offbeat Bride! Reply I've been drooling over these on etsy. Reply I'm so glad you posted Wexford Jewelers on your site! My fiance asked if they would custom make my engagement ring based on one of their designs using a stone we had found. They were so helpful and extremely talented in making a gorgeous ring for us. Beautiful work and really kind people! Reply I directed my boyfriend Wexford Jewelers after reading this post. He's now my fiancee, and I love my ring! It's a customized version of the English roses wedding set. The stone was picked to match my hair, and accent stones were added to match my eyes. Reply Are there any photos available of the orchids ring with the hidden Mickey? I am Disney obsessed, and would LOVE to see it! Reply Wexford made a custom ring for me last year and were awesome to work with! i sent them three diamonds from my parents wedding band, and they set them in an amazing ring for me. and the ring appraised for much more than i thought! My wonderful Fiancee also got my engagement ring and wedding band from them. and I ABSOLUTELY love it! it's gorgeous, unique, and perfect for me! 🙂 Reply I can't believe I missed this! This is where my wedding set is from! I have one of the smaller pieces from The Rose Collection with a gorgeous pink stone in the center, less than $250. We've been engaged over a year and I'm STILL madly in love with it. We bought my other half's ring from a mall jewelry shop, and the ladies there had never seen anything like it and were calling one another to drool over it. Honestly, the main reason I want to make it legal is so I can wear the wedding band part of my ring! Also, I didn't see it mentioned so I'd like to throw out that many of their wedding sets also having matching earrings and necklaces. I would LOVE to have those pieces as well! Reply Thank you offbeat bride for sending me to Wexford Jewelers! This is the result! I feel so lucky! Reply I love Wexford Jewelers! I got my fiancee's engagement ring from them and I couldn't have been more pleased with the ring or my experiences! I got her the Duchess Lost Relic ring in black and green from the vintage collection. She was floored when I got down on one knee and opened the box. It was her "mermaid ring" and she loves it. The website said it would take four to six weeks to arrive and it arrived in three days. The box was sealed in wax and the ring box was really nice. They even sent a nice note a couple weeks later wishing us a happy engagement. This was a big deal as a same sex couple. I love that they are from my home state as well. Seriously, consider buying your ring or any future gift from them they are great people who make great jewelry. This is the link to the ring I got since I can't figure out how to add a picture of the ring on my fiancee's finger. https://www.wexfordjewelers.com/items/2023 Reply I love these rings! I just got my custom engagement ring from Liza Shtromberg in Los Angeles….it is amazingly beautiful, rose gold with a side set pear shaped diamond that's a recycled family heirloom. She really worked with me to create the perfect ring for me, I have really small hands and it's beautifully delicate. She's currently working to create a matching wraparound band and I can't wait, definitely check out her stuff. Reply Join the conversation Cancel Reply Your email address will not be published.
