The nano-freaking-second I saw Tribesmaid RakishLass' Adventure Time wedding cake, I had to get the sweet details.

This is one of those wedding things that made me cry. Our cake artist actually started watching Adventure Time to get ready to make this cake — and then they happened to hire a new sculptor who is a huge fan and was stoked to work on this project. I still cannot believe this thing!

We saved Finn, Flame Princess, Jake, Marceline, BMO, Ice King and Finn's backpack (which was filled with flowers), and I fully intend to make a display out of them. Our guests kept saying that it looked like something they would see on Cake Boss, and I couldn't agree more.

I honestly thought about shellacking the cake and saving it forever, but I really wanted to get a taste. And good thing I didn't shellack the cake, because it was also the most delicious wedding cake I've ever eaten: banana chocolate and lemon raspberry.

Adventure Time fans, what is your favorite part about this cake? I love Princess Rainicorn's rainbow ribbon body!

  1. The cake was done by the fabulous ladies at Over The Top Cakes in St. Albert, Alberta. I just realized I forgot to put that in, and they deserve mad props!

  3. Interesting Blog! Cakes play a major role in the wedding party. In fact, some brides actually plan their entire weddings around the style of their cakes. it is really worth visiting your blog..
