Announcing the birth of our sister site: Offbeat Mama!

Inspired by a pair of wedding shoes that didn't fit…

OBT member Sophomania mused, "Vegan footwear is not only hard to find but expensive. But hey, I am a crafty bitch! I might as well DIY it!" So she took a pair of cheap non-leather pumps from Pay-Less and painted them freehand. The results are stunning:

Yes, I'm a longtime fan of Wai-Ching dresses, and even wore one to my book release party. But with this silk dress, Chrissy Wai-Ching has truly outdone herself. No seriously:

There's a lot to love about Kara & Drew's Colorado Hoe-Down wedding, but I've never seen anything like Kara's wonderful poof veil here.

It looks like a concept that would be relatively easy to make, and it just adds such a sense of drama to her clean and simple ensemble. Plus, it's a nod to a veil without being too, you know, veil-y.

And I love her officiant:

…But I'm totally enamored with her veil/hair combo. Look at that verticality!

How kick-ass are these bridesmaids in their coordinated-but-not-matching boots? And the groomsmen all wore Vans. Too cute! For lots more shots from Hope & Adam's wedding, head on over to Matthew Morgan Photography.

(And thanks to Serena for bringing these photos to my attention!)
