AngandMattThis is OBT member Ang's advice for streaming your wedding live on the internets. This is awesome for people who aren't going to be able to make it to the wedding as well as for all your OBB friends to be able to ogle you.

So here's my situation. First and foremost we are on a budget so our guest list is limited. I am a techno geek, so most of my friends live inside my computer and are pretty far away. Even though several are going to be able to make it to my wedding, there are even more that won't be able to make it. Not to mention family and friends who won't be able to make an international trip, or who are in poor health and aren't supposed to travel. Originally I was planning on sending them all photo CDs, and doing a slideshow on our wedsite, but then I started thinking with my geek gland.

Back in March, one of my fabulous internet groups had several members who attended an expo in Chicago. ALL the members of the site had helped to fund raise, and everyone was excited about it. I decided try and stream it live, so all our online friends who couldn't be there could be participants. It was a resounding success, and everyone loved it. Why couldn't I use this self same technology for my wedding?

I've written before about the awesome Hello Guest Book concept from my friend Megan Hill of Hello Super 8. Well, here's a brilliant execution of the concept — part photo booth, part wedding film, and a little bit of chalkboard & mustache awesomeness tossed in taboot!

As a rule, I avoid posting wedding memes that are making the rounds elsewhere (this video was on CNN and the couple appeared on Good Morning America and the Today Show, for goodness sake!), but I've received so many dozens of emails about this that I don't think I have any choice.

So I'll wave my little white editorial standards flag in surrender and just say, for those of you who may have missed this elsewhere, here's Jill & Kevin's wonderful dancing wedding entrance video:

If you like people dancing down the aisle, make sure you check out Myshell & Hannibal's wedding, which included TONS of dancing.

This question actually came in as a comment on the post about Hannibal & Myshell's wedding video:

This brings a question that I've been wrestling with as a performer – if you or your beloved is a performer by trade, how much of the wedding is a "performance"? I feel like my guests are an audience and I worry that I'm not going to give them a good enough "show" -Leah

This is a great question, and one that I totally relate to. I hope I made it clear in my Authenticity vs. Attention post that this issue is one I wrestle with a lot. Little known Ariel Trivia: I started college as musical theater student on scholarship. I lasted one semester before bailing, but the when you spend your formative years singing and dancing, you can't ever really get rid of the jazz hands.

This couple (a show dancer and a karaoke king) know just what they want … and it's not David's Bridal. It's the entire wedding party dancing down the aisle, choreographed routines at the reception, and a bride in a short black and pink dress:
