These cakes made me start drooling — y’all can keep your fondant-covered multi-tiered cakes. I’m sure they’re delicious! But for me, it’s all about cakes covered in flowers and fruits, like these cakes from Ivonne & Josh’s 2004 wedding.

If your tastes tend toward the gothy, film noir, and slightly victorian, your head may explode from io’s southern gothic wedding photos. I’m especially pleased with her little wedding hat, the groom’s striking outfit, and the bat cake. (Thanks, Kat!)

If you’re a fellow fan of Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab (it’s an underground perfumery in LA), you’ll be as excited as I was to see photos from the founder’s recent pirate-themed wedding in Vegas. Hopefully I can track down more, but for now these will have to do. Click the pix to see ‘em big! (Thanks for the tip, Laurel — and for the permission to post the shots, Beth!)

Is there a Cute Overload for wedding cakes? Because there should be. This, folks, is the most adorable wedding cake I’ve ever seen. Rainbows! Blue skies! Big-eyed deer! Trees! I want to cuddle with this cake and do glowstick shows for it.

There are lots more pictures from Matt & Kimberly’s recent wedding in Portland over here, and it looks like it was just non-stop adorableness!

I’m very fond of the rainbow place settings and adorable program design. The invites may even be cuter than the cake. (Is that possible? How much cuteness can there be?)
