What do you get when two British circus performers marry? You get a bride in a candy-apple red dress (made by Miss Katie) with matching candy-apple red pin-up hair, arriving at her courthouse wedding in a gold car with an eye-patched skull on top. You get hottie bridesmaids in little top hats and a fabulous red cake, and from the looks of it, one HELL of a reception.

You’ll find all this and more in the photos from Lucifire and Dave Tusk’s April 2006 wedding. Take your time going through the hundreds of photos on Lucifire’s Myspace. Bonus sweetness: on her website, the bride describes herself as “profoundly, ridiculously, disgustingly happily married.”

(Thanks to Kate for the heads up on these shots!)

Swoon. Purple dress. Black corset. Pink hair. Purple boots. Black veil. Jeweled crown. I don’t know anything about this bride other than that her name is Tanya and she’s from the UK and I love her.

A very special thanks to analogueandy for sharing the photos with the Offbeat Bride pool on Flickr! Note: you’ll need to be a member of the group and logged into Flickr to see the photos I link to in this post.

Helen and Tim Ward

Remember the Wards and their colorful wedding? Well, here’s the full scoop!

The offbeat bride: Helen Ward, Graphic Designer

My offbeat groom: Tim Ward, Graphic Designer

Location & date of wedding: The Paintworks gallery space, Bristol, UK

What made our wedding offbeat: The first thing I knew was that I WAS NOT going to be wearing a white dress and that I WAS going to be wearing red shoes!! Everything else went from there really.

Mr and Mrs WardNow these are my kind of wedding colors. The chartreuse wedding dress! The red shoes! The purple shirt and tie!

I would be remiss if I didn’t include the coordinated wedding cake and father of the bride’s tie.

And don’t forget about the mum of the groom’s fabulous hat! Oh, and I love the paper decorations and lovely placesettings.

Tim and Helen had a stunning wedding. If you need some non-budget inspiration — wow, check them out. I think I have a crush on them.

UPDATE: Lots of DIY details over here!

(Thanks to Ward-a-mercy for the photo!)

Red Wedding DressIt wouldn’t be a week on OBB.com without a red wedding dress!

Ok, ok. So it’s more burgundy than red. But if you liked Penaran’s red wedding dress, then chances are you’ll love Sharne’s beautiful burgundy gown from her recent wedding in Kent, UK.

Check out the full gallery for lots of shots from Stuarts Photography, but this one is my favorite. Also, lookit how hot the bride and groom are together!

Check out my whole collection of red wedding dress photos!

Obviously I have a thing for red wedding dresses. Photographer Martin Oliver captured a bride named Penaran in a red Ian Stuart dress. I love the rouching of the red train, and the bride’s adorable little cocktail hat.

The lovely CoupleI’m not sure what else to say other than swooning and falling out of my chair. I love the hot pink and pale turquoise scheme of Tasche & Matt’s 2005 wedding in East Hoathly, UK — it’s extra awesome when you see the whole wedding party.

Ooh, and the shoes.

…And omg, the cake!

You can check out the whole set, but this this is my favorite shot. Yay for laughs and smiles and pink hair!
