A laid-back Friday 13th Wedding with antlers and a killer pink suit

Alex and Mick's Friday the 13th wedding featured some of the most amazing details we've seen: a hand-painted antler headpiece, Mick's killer hot pink suit, handmade rings (that they made!), and an after party at some pubs. This is a wedding I can only wish I attended. Here's a little from the couple themselves including MAJOR surprises at both the ceremony and reception…

A romantic bohemian Grecian elopement

Our wedding was more about us no longer wanting to wait to get married. Ben and I met just over four years ago, but we both knew from the first date that this was it. We got engaged a year later, with his son on the beach, but, around the same time, my freelance artwork for local restaurant had slowly grown into a full time job for me.

With our busy schedules, we knew we would never get around to planning a wedding, so we decided to splurge on a bad-ass honeymoon and elope in Greece!

Get ready for this Gothic Midsummer Night's Dream wedding in a forest

If I had to put a label on it, I would call our wedding a "Gothic Midsummer Night's Dream." We made sure to include a ton of natural and rustic elements like crystals, logs, animal bones, and balanced those raw materials with dark elegant pieces to get that "we just magically threw together a fancy party in the woods" vibe. James and I are both artists, so it only made sense that almost all our decorations/accessories were made by us. Don't miss how we narrowed down our venue search!

Black outfits and ring tattoos at this Boston City Hall elopement

Kathleen and Eric scrapped their traditional wedding plan and decided to get married at Boston City Hall on a warm October day, have their favorite artist tattoo their rings, and celebrate with drinks at a bar. And this suited Kat and Eric way better — the ones who love shopping for spooky things in Salem, drinking good beer, and walking through the woods together.
