As promised, here is the full scoop on the black and white damask wedding as previously seen in the Jessica McClintock wedding trend post.

The offbeat bride: Amber, Punk Baby Bedding Designer

Her offbeat partner: ZaQ, Store Manager of Guitar Center

Location & date of wedding: Grandmas Backyard in LaMoille, IL — July 18th, 2009

What made our wedding offbeat: To start, we're very non-traditional and do everything ass-backwards. We have two toddlers, eleven months apart… THEN decided hey, we still like each other three years later, we should totally get married :) So we did!

The Offbeat Bride: Melissa, Administration Officer (and OBT member!)

Her Offbeat Partner: Joshua, Carpenter

Location & date of wedding: Brisbane Registry Office, Australia, — Saturday, March 21 2009

What made our wedding offbeat: First of all, we married interstate and planned everything online and made about 80% of our purchases and decisions online.

We got up early and picked up our own flowers direct from the market florist where Josh said he enjoyed talking to the owner who was walking around making bouquets. We also got ready together and made sure the day itself was about us we could spend our time with everybody else later.

The Offbeat Bride: Nikki, OBT member "nikki fizer"

Her Offbeat Partner: Duncan, Musican

Location & date of wedding: mother jungle of a patio in Harrisburg, PA — 7-7-2009

What made our wedding offbeat: Our wedding was very small (13 people). The groom wore a steampunk getup with a krazy Aztec/Myan dreadlock hairstyle with dot tattoos for eyebrows, and I wore a retro polkadot dress with seamed stockings and wingtip heels. We both have dreads (mine are pink). I walked down the aisle to "Beautiful Freak" by The Eels. We used the zombie wedding vows featured on Offbeat Bride.

Known for his rock 'n' roll work, Jeremy Harris is New York-based wedding photographer who's been featured in magazines such as Rolling Stone, SPIN, and the UK mag Kerrang.

jeremy-harrisSo wait, why does a guy who photographs rock stars for Rolling Stone want to shoot your wedding? "Unlike the editorial and ad shoots which only satisfy the art director for a moment," Jeremy told me, "The weddings I shoot make people happy for a lifetime … I enjoy creating something that will be truly cherished!"

The advantage of working with a photographer accustomed to shooting musicians for magazines is that you get an editorial and photojournalistic style … and BONUS: you get treated like a rock star.

Oh and don't let the fact that Jeremy's based in New York fool you! He works frequently in the Bay Area and Los Angeles and, he says with a wicked little smile, "…I have a valid passport."
