Coral wedding shoes: pumps, flats, and skulls! [UPDATED for 2023!]
Can we talk about coral? It’s not quite orange, but not quite pink. It’s definitely brighter than peach, and it complements teal perfectly if you’re into that kind of thing. It’s also the color that I’m single-mindedly fixating on today, with a whole post full of pumps, flats, and the most adorably dapper coral nubuck oxfords. Interestingly, several of these shoes also involve skulls in various ways… I love it when macabre details show up in unexpected places.

A love-heavy rainy day wedding in a New York barn
Rebecca and Meeka had to battle downpours throughout their entire wedding day, but even the most torrential rain couldn’t stop them from smiling! The two held their ceremony in a barn decorated with animal skulls and rope, and cleverly used white roses to mark seats intended for family members. After jumping the broom, they moved on to the reception space, where plenty of dancing and toasting followed. Tera and Ryan recently wed near downtown San Diego, California, and had pink details everywhere — the flowers, the bride’s glittery shoes, even the seating chart and wedding favors were all rose-hued! These two found a way to include a dash of the unexpected throughout the day, like using a neon pink megaphone to hold programs and decorating a guitar case with written ceremony instructions for their guests.
