Our offbeat wedding at a glance: Everything was very low-cost, but perfect for us. Everything just seemed to fall into place from the wedding cake to the venue and to the photographer, Allan McLuckie.

We don't normally cover current events, but I can't help but be all tickled by the news trickling out from Mark Zuckerberg & Priscilla Chan's totally nontraditional wedding yesterday. A few distinctly offbeat details…

A vintage dress to die for, a heart theme (including awesome headpiece!), fun with piñatas, and the sweetest homemade book about their relationship — you're in for a backyard wedding with a ton of heart(s). These two moved their wedding date up seven months to coincide with a birthday party and Easter weekend, which left them with only days to finish. But finish they did, and you'll want to see the result.

Imagine deciding to get married on a family reunion vacation and having only four days to plan. That's exactly what this pair did on their vacation cruise in Alaska. Fast dress fittings, a quickie cake and bouquet, and all the nearest and dearest in one place. That's how you elope in the far North!

It started with the vintage postcard invitations and ended with a nighttime game of "Monster." That's a pretty awesome way to have an outdoor camp-out wedding. Add in a potluck feast, a dance party to rival any and all barn dances, and sage advice on buying kegs, and you're bound to enjoy this taste-of-rustic forest wedding.

Party games, a candy buffet, DIY elephant signs, and a topsy-turvy cake! This cocktail party-style wedding had as much fun as a carnival. You'll love their choice of music as well — the Portal theme, Nine Inch Nails, and the A-Team theme!

Two months to plan and catering-phobic? Now there's a challenge. But this pair came up with a plan and managed to get amazing pasta and NOM-worthy desserts to their guests' tummies. They also learned a hard lesson that combining flowers and mini-fridge freezers spells flower disaster. But trust me, none of that made this tiny affair any less awesome.

Anyone think there can be too much Beatles music? Didn't think so. How about when it's in the historic Portage Theater in Chicago? Still in? What if they served popcorn at the ceremony and had an acoustic guitar guest book? Okay, I think you're safe to crush on this one.
