What made our wedding offbeat: Our wedding was OURS. It was US. I wanted to wear red and have the most gorgeous flowing dreadlocks. Mike totally dug his brown suit and when I asked if he wanted to wear a boutonniere he said "…do I have to?", to which I replied, "there are no rules, nothing we have to do…wear one if you want to, don't if you don't."

…He didn't.

Is there a Cute Overload for wedding cakes? Because there should be. This, folks, is the most adorable wedding cake I've ever seen. Rainbows! Blue skies! Big-eyed deer! Trees! I want to cuddle with this cake and do glowstick shows for it.

There are lots more pictures from Matt & Kimberly's recent wedding in Portland over here, and it looks like it was just non-stop adorableness!

I'm very fond of the rainbow place settings and adorable program design. The invites may even be cuter than the cake. (Is that possible? How much cuteness can there be?)
