Location & date of wedding: Holiday Inn Select, Trevose, PA — October 31, 2008

What made our wedding offbeat: We tried to make the day about the two of us, our love, and Halloween all at the same time.

We got married in a hotel, had pumpkin place cards, black and white everything. We had a life size motion activated skeleton bride and groom. We were introduced to the song, "Crazy Bitch." We had a shoe cake cutter and skelton bride and groom cake topper and I wore neon blue high heels.

The Offbeat Bride: Tanya, bookseller/crafty lady

Her Offbeat Partner: Mark, administrator

Location & date of wedding: Parents backyard in Northampton, PA — 6/6/09

What made our wedding offbeat: We wanted to keep our wedding fun, whimsical, and more like an outdoor party. I made everything I thought I could, allowing me to show of my crafty side. I did the invitations, most of the decorations (except the paper lanterns), the centerpieces, and all of the flowers. All of the tables were covered in the vintage table clothes I had been collecting while planning the wedding.

I am a huge John Waters fan, hence the slight pink flamingo obsession. We had plastic pink flamingos in the yard and at our gazebo "altar."

The Offbeat Bride: Tracy, Editor (and OBT member "Tracy")

Location & date of wedding: Peace Valley Park in New Britain Township, PA. — October 25, 2008

What made our wedding offbeat: We had a self-uniting ceremony, which means we had no officiant. We kept our vows pretty traditional, but we led ourselves through them.

The Offbeat Bride: Nikki, OBT member "nikki fizer"

Her Offbeat Partner: Duncan, Musican

Location & date of wedding: mother jungle of a patio in Harrisburg, PA — 7-7-2009

What made our wedding offbeat: Our wedding was very small (13 people). The groom wore a steampunk getup with a krazy Aztec/Myan dreadlock hairstyle with dot tattoos for eyebrows, and I wore a retro polkadot dress with seamed stockings and wingtip heels. We both have dreads (mine are pink). I walked down the aisle to "Beautiful Freak" by The Eels. We used the zombie wedding vows featured on Offbeat Bride.
