What made our wedding offbeat: First of all, we didn't have a bride! We didn't really have to worry about wedding traditions, so we created our own. A friend sang Michael Jackson's "Will You Be There" during our ceremony. We had activities scheduled the entire weekend, including Jazzercise! A friend did a dramatic reading of a Dolly Parton song. There was a lot going on.

This couple blends Indian cuisine, fairies, bellydancers, Rajasthani and Tunisian dancers, fire-spinning and yes, Salt-N-Pepa's "Push It" on accordion, into a medley of colors and flavors too awesome to be kept indoors. They had to carve a place in Wisconsin's Driftless Region to hold all of this inspiration.

Cake toppers were popular in the Offbeat Flickr Pool. You'll also see a smidgen of parasols, tats, and a maypole too in this week's Monday Montage.

If you're planning a destination wedding, this couple has tons of advice. They also have tons of '50s style that somehow blends seamlessly into the beaches of Puerto Rico. Check out this tropical/vintage fusion complete with sand and salt.

Jolie & Jason dealt with not being able to have their dream honeymoon in Japan by having a Japanese influenced wedding. They included Japanese traditions such as paper cranes and the colors red and white. The ceremony consisted only of unrehearsed and unscripted vows to each other.
