Our offbeat wedding at a glance: We handcrafted as many elements as we could, and we really tried to keep a focus on infusing our personalities into just about everything. We eliminated the things that had no meaning to us (being given away, tossing of anything) and tried to jazz things up in other areas: a cake with flames and ushers on roller skates!

Our Bookish theme week brings us this Indiana wedding with a librarian's touch: cupcakes on children's classics, "Just Married" Scrabble tiles, and library card invites. But a highlight of the day was definitely when their dog, Puppers, stood as fourth bridesmaid. Fur babies FTW!

Dungeons & Dragons, sci-fi vows, games, the Time Warp… it's a geek's paradise! After finding the venue by putting a note on the door, these two planned a local garden wedding to whet every gamer's appetite. And don't think this bride isn't up for the challenge when she forgets her vows at home!

Hand-painted signs, vintage stoles, an ultra fashionable wedding party, reception outfit changes, tutus, fascinators, big hair… HEAD ASPLODE! Even the cupcakes are rustically gorgeous in re-purposed cigar boxes. Plus, everyone is killing me with adorable first look photos. Damn mascara running.

Peacock feathers, homemade vanilla syrup, and two ceremonies make me happy. Add in some tree planting, multicultural reception games, lots of henna, and a whole roasted lamb, and it's a party. Check out this amazing wedding full of rich culture.

It started with the vintage postcard invitations and ended with a nighttime game of "Monster." That's a pretty awesome way to have an outdoor camp-out wedding. Add in a potluck feast, a dance party to rival any and all barn dances, and sage advice on buying kegs, and you're bound to enjoy this taste-of-rustic forest wedding.

"We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad." And this couple knows just how to throw a mad tea party on a budget, complete with key motif, Wonderland readings, and hats galore, natch. Plus they accented everything with peacock feathers… and real peacocks came around to steal them back!

A diverse group of friends and family deserves diverse activities like fire spinning, hula hooping, live music, and of course… streaking. Wait, what? This couple had their ceremony kicked off in a seriously funny way. With their trusty pooch in tow, zoot suit-clad groom, surprise group blessing, and all the elements at their disposal, this was an outdoor wedding to remember.
