Beth, the leg to which this garter belongs and her hubby Chris are comic book collecting, action figure collecting, video game playing nerds. Aka a match made in dorkdom. So not only did Beth wear a Wonderwoman garter but she had a Joker garter too.

Anna and Jon had a small wedding in their Aunt's backyard. At this backyard wedding they had a cupcake tower…

Our cake topper
Atop the “tower of cuppies” were these two figurines from their favorite video game Bioshock. I don't even know what that is, but this cake topper is freakin' rad!

Can you guess where this dashing couple tied the knot? If you guessed Memphis, TN then you are right! (What gave it away?) Ariel and Vic got married at the legendary Sun Studio also known as the Birthplace of Rock N' Roll!

I don't know about you, but I like any chick who can rock an accordion, especially on their wedding day!

And then there's this one. Sarah in that white dress and Jeff in his Navy uniform. It's just so regal, I want to hang this in my living room over my fireplace, well if I had a fireplace.

And yes, Sarah was wearing wings at her reception!

And check it out, we knew this would be a hit with the OBBs. More nom-monster card boxes PLZ!

Comments on Monday Montage

  1. The Big Daddy and Little Sister topper is freaky and adoreable. But I am lusting after that Wonder Woman garter. Is it a DIY project?

    • Seconded! I, too, really want to know where the garters came from as I’m an avid Batman fan and would love a classy Batman garter (I’ve seen one or two, just none that I love).

    • Thanks! I found narfer99 on ebay, who was then able to take my design ideas and turn them into a reality. The charms are meant for those rubber sandals; I just used a sharp blade to take the plug off the back, then craft glue to adhere them. Chris tossed the Wonder Woman garter and kept The Joker. 🙂

  2. Many things come to mind when seeing this weeks Monday Montage. One: I have so much love for the Sun studios picture. Two: Uniforms are sexy! Three: How can I incorporate wings into my reception outfit?

  3. The bride and groom from the Nashville wedding look awesome. That bride simply could not be more beautiful! Stunning, even! Excellent montage 🙂

  4. I’m so glad I’m not the only bride on here who knows Bioshock. Friggin awesome (and creepy) topper! I might be too creeped out to have a Little Sister on my cake, though…

  5. I’d love to know where the Memphis bride got her dress! It’s exactly the style I’ve been searching for!

  6. My heart sang when I saw the Bioshock cake topper. If I could afford to pull it off, my entire reception would be a “Rapture” theme!
