Seriously, I blurted way to many obscenities while browsing the Offbeat Bride Flickr pool this week. I couldn't help myself — You guys are just so freakin' cute and so creative. I mean, look for yourselves. This Monday we have one couple who played Dance Dance Revolution for their first dance, some beauties in black, kissing coats and lovely colors.

You may remember this fire-hooping, first dance song belting, fabulous couple from last week's Monday Montage. Here is their wedding in it's full fabulousness! – Becca Aryanna & Craig really wanted to have their wedding in their house. However, cramming more than eighty-five people into their humble, little (one-bedroom/one bathroom) home seemed unlikely. But they were determined. With some careful spacial planning and a little re-arranging, they were able to successfully throw a killer wedding and awesome party, New Orleans style! Donielle & Wayne didn't just want a wedding they wanted to create an entire experience. They rented an abandoned warehouse next to a train station to have their ceremony. Afterwards they held a decadent candlelit dinner party reception. Haley & Patrick are lucky in the sense that both of their parents were very supportive of their offbeat-ness. This allowed them to have their wedding day their way. So, they had a quaker ceremony, followed by a reception filled with games and dancing! Girls, grab your wallets (and maybe a new set of underpants?) because you're gonna soil yourselves first and then spend some money when you see what we've got for you... Religion is very important to Sarah & Todd. But that didn't mean they couldn't make a few changes to their traditional ceremony, like adding the "wine box unity ceremony" into their modern-vintage travel themed wedding. Nicole & Glenn only needed three things to have the perfect wedding day: Australian bushland, some water and preferably some wombats. Well, I think you see where this wedding story is headed. |
