"Our photos have a cinematic quality reminiscent of films from the 60's, 70's and more recent films like The Royal Tenenbaums. We tend to use a warm palette of colors, which is a departure from the crisp and modern look that many wedding photographers currently produce."

The Offbeat Bride: Rykie (say it like "Rikki") – 20-something actor-type

Her Offbeat Partner: Chris – 20-something manager of a Blockbuster

Location & date of wedding: Central Presbyterian Church, Atlanta GA; College Park Woman's Club, Atlanta, GA — February 20, 2009

What made our wedding offbeat: We tried not to get too wrapped up in the formality of the affair; we just got dressed up and had a big party with our nearest and dearest. There were some traditions we liked and some we didn't. Those we liked, we used — those we didn't we changed or scrapped.

The Offbeat Bride: Kendra Bentle, Branding and Design Writer and OBTer SheHim

Her Offbeat Partner: Blake Rainey, Musician

Location & date of wedding: The EARL, music venue and bar, Atlanta, GA — 1/11/09

What made our wedding offbeat: Blake and I met on-stage at an Atlanta music venue called The EARL during an event aptly named "The Happenstance." It's kind of like the 48-hour film festival, but for musicians. Blake pulled my name out of a hat to play with him, we wrote and performed music together that night, and have been inseparable ever since.

The Offbeat Bride: Elli Bonner – Stylist

Her Offbeat Partner: Jason Bonner – musician

Location & date of wedding: Trinity Family Worship Center in Hampton, GA. It's a very mod church that used to be chicken house! — August 1st 2008

What made our wedding offbeat: To start, the two of us had more tattoos than all guests combined! [Editor's note: check out the bride's amazing back piece!] We really wanted our wedding to be "us", and we did everything we could to infuse the decor, music, and dress with our own twist.

The Offbeat Bride: Jan, Domestic Goodess or Housekeeper/lady of leisure, depending on what end of the country we are on

My Offbeat Partner: Bobby, Union Millwright, traveling from state to state, job to job.

Location & date of wedding: June 28, 2008 on Tybee Island, Ga. The Wedding itself was on the beach at the end of the island. The reception was a laid back Low Country Boil in our home and backyard.
