These two were made to get married in the bar where they work and watch their favorite bands play. But they didn't expect a cameo appearance from the lead singer of Soul Asylum. I don't blame him for party crashing since they had awesome cupcakes, a fried noms "cake," and a kick-ass rocker ceremony.

Gamers, sword fighters, King Richard VIII, the full Princess Bride ceremony, a D20 that determines who kisses who… it's fantastic. This week's Monday Montage has a few geeky touches (always warranted), some really interesting clay flowers, throwback dance party moves, and a rained-out bride we can all learn from. The Offbeat Flickr Pool was a little dance-y, a little steampunk-y, and a little bit awesome.

These two had awesome goals: stress-free day, guests enjoying their "quirky little world," and be comfortable. They managed all of that while still creating a beautiful outdoor ceremony and cozy party with a bunch of touching moments and lots of blissed-out looks. It's happy-sappy and I looove it.

These two know the value of a little leg work in getting a deal for a budget wedding. And when you're trying to keep family, friends, and especially vegetarians fed and happy, it's no mean feat. But thankfully, they found a restaurant willing to make a deal and crafted a small wedding with emphasis on being together and sharing in the day. It's just one of those awesome weddings we are loving for simple weddings week.

With families in Wyoming and Australia, what better mid-point could there be than Hawaii? This couple planned a destination wedding on the beach where both of their families met for the first time. Although they had a bumpy road to the altar, the end result was a kick-ass party with pinkie swears, friendly roasting, impromptu karaoke, and a whole lot of love.

It takes a village to make a budget wedding and this couple had good friends to help. Handfasting, broom jumping, a last-minute Home Depot tie, and a little Doctor Who geekery make for a damn good time. Don't forget to check out the bridesmaid's different bouquets too!
