A geeky garden wedding with enough Doctor Who, Stargate, and space references to make you giddy
If you could dream up a geeky celebration of love and life set in a garden, you’d probably come close to the wedding that Olivia and James had at The Old Rectory Bed and Breakfast in Great Malvern (United Kingdom). These guys had two cakes, one with a Lego Stargate scenario on top and the other was a TARDIS), Olivia wore white Batman-adorned Converse, guests were assigned to a spaceship-labeled table for dinner, and Olivia also carried a TARDIS and a Golden Snitch as her good luck charms. AND our very own Catherine designed Olivia’s dragon engagement ring!

Vintage frames, gears, and books: A spectacular British steampunk wedding
These two put a lot of thought into every aspect of the day — they designed their own outfits (including modifying purchased items when they couldn’t find what they were looking for) and combined their design and computing skills to create the bespoke invitations, stationery, and a website to match the theme. Adam’s mum and best man designed the centerpieces, and the pair had some of Adelina’s family’s old jewelry redesigned into unique wedding bands with a never-ending vine engraved on them. I LOVE!
Krista & Colin’s multicultural punk island elopement
Islands views, backgrounds and cultures, WWII history, and their sweet dog named Thor — these are things that make this couple tick. And since both had very different kinds of weddings before, this one only going to be about their love and the meanings behind it. Cue the Scottish island elopement with ink, a mohawk, and lots of ceremonial traditions.
