OBT member Kasia, aka. "Lil Pistol" found these rad tattooed toasting flutes from Laserbird's Etsy shop. They're perfect for a tattooed bride and groom, or a couple that wants to get non-cheesy toasting flutes.

The glasses "features two birds nestled among beautifully detailed roses, with a flowing ribbon banner that reads LOVE." And the best part about these babies is that they can be custom engraved with your name and date. The ones pictured show the names engraved along the wing of each bird, and the date in the upper left.

Rowena's silk peacock clutch

Allow me to introduce you to The Red Ruby Rose, a collection of unique handmade clutches made in Bristol, England by artist and illustrator Rowena Dugdale.

These amazing clutches come are made from an eclectic mix of contemporary and vintage fabrics that seem custom catered to Offbeat needs — check out the full range of peacock designs! Some of them are so brilliantly colored and gorgeous that I could see a courthouse bride using one instead of a bouquet. Imagine this being held by a bride in a tea length dress, wearing sharp little red gloves:

The Offbeat Bride: Rebekah Borucki, Studio Manager, Justin Borucki Photography (and OBT member "Rebekah")

Her Offbeat Partner: Justin Borucki, Photographer

Location & date of wedding: Woodloch Pines Resort, Pocono Mountains, Hawley, Pennsylvania — January 23, 2009

What made our wedding offbeat: Our wedding could not have been more perfectly "us." Justin is a Brooklyn boy with country tastes and I'm a Jersey girl and mom of three, and there was not one part of the wedding from the decor to the music that didn't echo those descriptions. We decided from the very beginning that this wedding would be for our guests with an emphasis on fun.

You might recall these amazing green wedding shoes that made Ariel wet her pants. Well here's the scoop on the rest of OBT member LucyLu's wedding.

The Offbeat Bride: Lucy, client services

Her Offbeat Partner: Travis, engineer

Location & date of wedding: Milwaukie Community Club Center, Milwaukie, OR — March 7th, 2009

What made our wedding offbeat: From the start, we knew we wanted the wedding to be uniquely ours and not cost a gazillion dollars. Although we ended up going over our budget, the cost was still way less than the norm since most everything was vintage, crafted, or Etsy (aka. "crack central"). I was torn between an elegant or fun vibe, so did my best to do both.

obb1I just discovered a fellow wedding blogger Sabrina and OBT member Blablover5's amazing talent for re-creating wedding dresses on canvas!

It all started when she realized "the most expensive piece of clothing I have ever owned was sitting in the closet, I decided to create a painting of it." And she did a phenomenal job.

She then started doing paintings of other people's wedding dresses and groom's suits, much to the delight of the brides. And that's when she realized that she had a good thing going here and opened an etsy store.

Now Sabrina's hobby can turn into wonderful and unique way to commemorate your wedding day!
