A lovingly low-key elopement in Miami Beach

Lovingly low-key/easy elopement was our theme. We just wanted a fabulous day where we could celebrate together in a fun city.

We chose the date and location almost by default because Ben was scheduled to be there for training the week before, and had paid time off scheduled the week of Thanksgiving. We eloped for a number of reasons, but mainly because we did not want the meaning of the day to get lost in the shuffle of a big shindig.

An intimate wedding at sunset overlooking Shenandoah Valley (with a super special wedding date)

David and Hanser's intimate ceremony was held on a Tuesday evening at sunset in the popular Shenandoah National Park along Skyline Drive. The wedding date itself, October 17th, held a special meaning as that is when David's late parents were married.

Just wait until you check out their snazzy blue suits (not too matchy, though!), the bow ties, and the most gorgeous golden hour ever.

Vintage style and stunning views at this Scotland elopement

Meghan and Ryan traveled all the way from Georgia to have a dramatic and romantic Scotland elopement at the St. Anthony's Chapel ruins in Edinburgh.

They read their vows in front of two close friends, marking the occasion with champagne and cigars afterwards. After the ceremony, everyone had a delicious dinner in Edinburgh followed by a karaoke session at a local bar. After they tied the knot, it was off to to the Scottish highlands to visit were Ryan's ancestors had lived. It's like a wanderlusting dream come true about which we can dream…

If you can get over the hurdle of convincing your ultra nearest and dearest that it's okay to only have them at the wedding, you're in the clear to plan your own microwedding. Ready to see if a microwedding will be your jam? Here are the reasons teeny tiny weddings kick serious ass…
