What made our wedding offbeat: After knowing my hubby for about 13 years we finally up and decided to get hitched. So we got engaged with a 4 carat garnet ring that I chose, then got down the nitty gritty and planned a wedding for 10 months in the future.

Location & date of wedding: The Courthouse/Beni Hana restaurant and Thomson House, Montreal, Quebec - August 9th, 2008

What made our wedding offbeat: Jerry and I are an offbeat couple, so it was no suprise to those who know us that our wedding would be an ‘unusual affair’. We just took everything we love and mixed it all together.

What made our wedding offbeat: We tried to do things our way and not get caught up in everything we “had to have” for the wedding. We were able to have a totally rockin’ wedding with a very small budget.

Wedding porn: Christina and Michael’s wedding

Christina and Michael's weddingThis is absolutely my favorite wedding shot of the day. From the bride’s expression to the decorated get-away bikes to the groom’s tie to his kilt to the fact that yes, it was taken in my hometown of Seattle … I just love it!

I’m consistently amazed and in love with the pictures that show up in the Offbeat Bride photo pool. Yay!
