The offbeat bride: Fanny, Graphic Designer, Illustrator and Graphic novelist wannabe (and OBT member "Fanny Rdz")

Her offbeat partner: Luis, Helpdesk, geek and muse

Location & date of wedding: Ceremony: Parroquia Sagrado Corazon de Jesus. Reception: Akbal Lounge, Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico — October 31th, 2009

What made our wedding offbeat: Luis and I where supposed to get married in July of this year in a wedding according to our culture and our families… but we aren't like that (I don't drink, he don't dance, we hate crowds and many other things). On July of 2009 we canceled everything, except our photographer and adventure, to have our wedding for Halloween, to be ourselves.

The Offbeat Bride: Danielle, Business Owner Missing Piece, LLC

Her Offbeat Partner: Roland, Photographer/Carpenter

Location & date of wedding: Our house in San Francisco, CA — Friday, Oct. 31, 2008

What made our wedding offbeat: I met Roland at Burning Man and we were married exactly two months later, on Halloween. He is from London and I am from San Francisco. I asked him to marry me via text message while he was in New York. We sent out "Corpse Bride" inspired wedding invitations via Facebook, bought some alcohol and snacks, and our motto all week was "Let's Get Fucking Married!!!"

Her Offbeat Partner: Jason – Warehouse manager

Location & date of wedding: In the grounds of Chandeliers on Abbey in Yallingup, south Western Australia — Friday 31st October 2008 at 5:45pm

What made our wedding offbeat: There was only the two of us, our celebrant and our photographers on the wedding day. Our wedding was so personal and so important to us. To cement the friendship we'd always had and to vow what we already knew, that even when there was nobody else we could relate to, we would always have each other.

The offbeat bride: Rachael, DJ/Producer
Her offbeat partner: Josh, IT Guy/Producer

Location & date of wedding: Forest (ceremony) and a haunted 1920's Log Mansion called Gold Mountain Manor (reception) – Big Bear, CA on September 26th, 2008

What made our wedding offbeat: I knew I wanted my wedding to be a little… dark. I didn't want a full on black and red gothic wedding. I wanted it to look like you were attending a wedding in Victorian times, but not happy bubblegum Main Street at Disneyland Victorian. A little darker, like a haunted mansion!
