Oh jeez, I can't help but love the hometown weddings, and a special thanks to Nyomi for emailing me about this wonderful Seattle wedding.

I've tried living in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, and Boston … but I always find myself coming back to my beloved Seattle, in part because of people like Caleb and Sarah here, who I totally don't know but completely adore. There's just this Seattle spirit of playfulness crossed with down-to-earth sensibilities that these two capture perfectly.

Caleb & Sarah got married at Seattle's Gasworks Park, which (as the name suggests) used to be a gas plant and therefore has not only amazing views of downtown Seattle but also the most awesome post-apocalyptic industrial gasworks all over the place.

To see a few more choice shots, keep reading!

I'm all for white dresses, red dresses, blue dresses, purple dresses, but ZOMG I actually gasped out loud when I saw this picture of Kelly Devoto's fantastical colorful peacock-y wedding dress — which it turns out was actually designed to be a prom dress.

Seriously, it's like a My Little Pony and Tinkerbell totally got it on nasty-style in a magical rhinestone shop and this dress was their sparkling bastard love child. And I mean that in the very best possible way! I'm totally in love.

I've got a detail shot of the bodice and bouquet below, along with the bride's story of where she got the dress. I'm looking forward to telling you much, much more about this Los Angeles wedding some day in the future.

Haley & Joe are totally Burners, and since half my friends are at Burning Man this week, I figured it was the perfect time to feature this fabulously PORANGE wedding!

SexyThe offbeat bride: Haley, Nanny

Her offbeat partner: Joe, Engineer

Location & date of wedding: Joaquin Miller Park Cascade, Oakland, CA. June 29, 2008

What made our wedding offbeat: My favorite color is pink, he likes orange. I like cats, he likes rabbits. So instead of having a wedding where I picked everything and he said, "Yes Dear" this wedding was all about our "Us-ness". Pink and orange make Porange, and Porange suits us.

Well, that didn't take long! As seen on OBB yesterday, here's the full scoop on Sandy's colorful wedding and her Christmas ornament bouquet.

sandy1.jpgThe offbeat bride: Sandy – high school secretary/craft maniac

Her offbeat partner: Josh – middle school social studies teacher/musician

Location & date of wedding: 3/15/08 at Butler's Courtyard in League City, TX

What made our wedding offbeat: We wanted the wedding to reflect us as a couple and be memorable, but we also didn't want to alienate any family members or make them feel uncomfortable along the way. We wanted to express ourselves while still making everyone feel welcome. We chose a rather traditional venue, but it still had enough character and history (we both majored in history) to make us fall in love with it. Also, the owners seemed to really be on board with any and all ideas we had, so that made it excellent.

Check out these gorgeous non-floral bouquets:

Sandy, the bride, made her bouquet out of christmas tree ornaments, and her bridesmaid's bouquets out of paper. (Unrelated: check out Sandy's shoes! And her purple crinoline! *swoon* I'm dying over here!)

Sandy also made the centerpieces out of paper:

Check out all the photos here, and rest assured that I'm already stalking Sandy and will hopefully have a full profile soon. You all know how much I love a colorful wedding
