Remember a year ago when Ariel introduced you to this adorable bike riding couple? Yeah, well a here's all details… a month after their first anniversary!

The Offbeat Bride: Jennifer, Theatre Manager (and OBT member "Jennifer")

Her Offbeat Partner: Kevin, Microsoft Solution Architect

Location & date of wedding: Wellington Barn, Wiltshire, UK — 19th July 2008

What made our wedding offbeat: We found that following the traditional pattern for the day (ie. we got married, fed everyone, and then danced) seemed to work for us, but the details made it our own.

love! The Offbeat Bride: Emily, bodyworker (and OBT member "Emily L")

Her Offbeat Partner: Mark, Case Manager

Location & date of wedding: Yerba Santa Goat Dairy, Lakeport, CA — 5/16/09

What made our wedding offbeat: We wanted everything to be as 'green' as possible. We bought and then donated all our plates, silverware and glasses. We sat on hay-bales which were later fed to the goats. We made as much by ourselves and with friends as possible and kept the food and drinks very local — we served veggies all grown within 100 miles of our home, buffalo raised 20 miles from the farm, a goat and goat cheese raised on the farm. We served Sonoma and Napa County wines, home-brewed beer by a dear friend of ours, and olives picked from Mark's mom's front yard and brined by us.

The Offbeat Bride: Jess, Experiential Educator

Her Offbeat Partner: Sean, Organic Foods Data King

Location & date of wedding: Artists for Humanity, South Boston, MA — May 2, 2009

What made our wedding offbeat: I am a Jewish educator and my husband is of Irish descent and was raised in the Catholic Faith. We wanted to honor and celebrate our heritage, while at the same time express our free thinking personalities. We had a Jewish Lay Leader and a family friend who is a former Pastor co-officiate our service, which we wrote ourselves, but honored every tradition that we could.

Her Offbeat Partner: Joe – Marketing Content Writer/Editor

Location & date of wedding: The Paisley Violin Cafe, Phoenix AZ

What made our wedding offbeat: We decided to keep our wedding small, personal, and inexpensive and save some money for a really nice honeymoon in Spain (since we were paying for it ourselves and wanted a short engagement of five months). We picked an offbeat cafe/bar/restaurant in our beloved downtown neighborhood that reflected our personalities, and provided great food in a casual atmosphere.

The Offbeat Bride: Jessi (aka. "Cupcake" or OBT member "Cupcake Pharaoh") — massage therapist/artist/pet sitter extraordinaire!

Her Offbeat Partner: Sean (aka. "Sweetpea") — Grocery Store Manager and scooter aficionado

Location & date of wedding: The Albuquerque Press Club (and Highland park below it), Albuquerque NM — May 16th, 2009

What made our wedding offbeat: We wanted four things for our wedding: cheap, green, local and fun! The ceremony was in a local park (free and green), and the reception was in the Albuquerque Press Club which is a really cool log cabin that was built in 1903 (also pretty cheap and definitely fun). We have our monthly scooter club meetings there, so we were very comfortable with the club. Not to mention it has a bar, pool table, ping pong, darts, and arcade game!!
