These two are children of the sixties, and what better way to celebrate the decade and their love of color than by having a TIE-DYE WEDDING? It's like a rainbow exploded and left everyone super happy and covered in color. They tossed tie-dyed bears, had a choreographed dance to their song (well, almost!), and tons of tie-dyed decor. Put on your shades for this one — it's wild!
This is Offbeat Bride's archive of colorful posts.
You may just explode with rainbows after seeing this colorful wedding with a surprise rainbow cake, handmade dress with rainbow tulle, and a science museum reception. The hand-composed song and original poem during the ceremony may have you crying rainbows, too. Oh, and just wait until you see how the bridesmaids calmed the bride down during a stressful moment.
I'm an artist and I wanted the invitations to reflect our personalities as well as the casual party vibe we want to set for our New Year's Eve wedding. I printed all the invitations on our standard home printer, and set to work spattering them (and myself) with watered down acrylics in the backyard.
If you're not hooting and hollering and holding up a yay flag for this colorful bonanza of a DIY wedding, then we are not doing our jobs. Come for the Red Wedding sangria and bridezilla card box… stay for the naked cake and "clown-vomit garland." Oh, and get this: there's a time-to-kiss gong, some quite literal "toasts," and a MACHETE involved!
If you're into rainbow weddings, you've gotta check out Simon and Petra's color-infused, rainbow-central, DIY love fest. They got married in the registry office of Andover, UK, before they partied at a local community center. Check out the monochromatic bouquets (which Petra totally made herself), be in awe of her own red-and-white brooch bouquet, and — oh my WOW — Petra's nails. Those tiny lil hearts took three hours to paint!
Color color everywhere and we get to take it all in! This adorable pair celebrated their love of bright colors, bandannas, and dancing at a chill retreat in Washington. With a cake decorating contest, a choreographed dance down the aisle, and super sweet speeches, it looks like a bright and colorful future is in store. Plus, you'll love how they officiated the ceremony themselves!
This pair is making a life in Mexico and brought guests from three countries to celebrate with them. But after seeing the lovely bridesmaids' dresses, the colorful Mexican backdrop, and these two cuties surrounded by loved ones, the travel was totally worth it. Check out the ceremony foot washing and live music, too!
This three-day celebration is all about color, amazing hand-carved landscapes, and fab entertainment. We're talking stilt-walkers, costumes, lasers, and a pre-wedding disco party where everyone wore bridesmaids dresses! And just wait until you see how these two crafted their rings. Hint: it involves a neuroscientist!
