What made our wedding offbeat: My dad's friend asked him if he was walking me down the aisle, and he replied, "I don't even know if there's going to be an aisle!" So much of this was our version of wedding: reimagined.

Supperclub is this strange white-box dinner theatre/nightclub venue where everyone sits on beds along the room's perimeter. Our party started at 8:45 pm with a cocktail hour in the front all-red room, which we attended in party clothes, and then stole away to change into wedding attire.

moustaches for all!

Offbeat Brides and their grooms and their guests love fake mustaches. LOVE THEM. I have no idea where this trend came from, but within the last month I've seen enough mustachioed wedding parties to realize that this isn't an isolated incident. And in fact, it's not even just weddings — mustaches are everywhere.

I'm telling you, fake mustaches are hot right now, people. Fake mustaches are the new red wedding dress. Take a look at all the mustaches in the offbeat bride flickr pool!

I get that it's a trend … but can anyone tell me why? Where did it come from?

PS: More about Erin & Jared (pictured above) and their mustache situation over here.
