Her mother-in-law phoned when she received the wedding invitation to tell her that she doesn't want to send the RSVP back… because it's too cute.

Now she's worried this will be a trend. And I think she haz every right to be worried!!!

The bride runs the Hello Kitty Museum in Germany, so of course she has her 2007 wedding at the Hello Kitty Puroland in Tokyo. (Side note: You must watch this vid of the bride getting a Hello Kitty tattoo.)

With theme weddings, both spouses need to be fully bought in — like the Star Wars wedding. The last thing you want is for your spouse to look like some sort of thematic afterthought. What made our wedding offbeat: We had a Quaker ceremony. Everyone sat facing one another in a circle, holding silence until moved to speak. In the Quaker tradition, there are no ministers as they believe all are equal before god. This means that everyone at your wedding is considered an officiant — anyone can talk during the ceremony, everyone signs the wedding certificate. [If you're interested in some background, you can read about Quaker weddings over here. -Ed.]
