What made our wedding offbeat: Most people who know us know how much we are in love and all of our personal struggles we've endured this past year. I am a breast cancer survivor (cancer-free one whole year, YAY). We relocated to Michigan from the Washington, DC area after I was diagnosed with cancer, mostly because my body doesn't process pharmaceuticals properly, so we knew I would be needing Mother Nature's medicine to help me get through chemo. Michigan is a legal medical marijuana state where I am a patient and a caregiver and very active in the "green movement."

In honor of the beginning of Hanukkah or The Festival of Lights, here is Dori and Ben's Jewish wedding, which fittingly (I thought) ends with a bonfire! Happy Hanukkah!

Becki & Jeremy run a wilderness summer camp together. Their wedding reflected this aspect of their lives. They had a fun-filled weekend with lots of outdoor activities: a hike, a 5k run, a bonfire, fishing and their wedding ceremony!

Lindzy & Davido's met as river guides, so naturally they had to have a river camp wedding that involved a post ceremony raft ride.

On day four of farm week, we find ourselves headed to Siler City, North Carolina, where Charlie and Kristen had quite the afternoon affair at Celebrity Dairy Goat Farm. Their day was filled with lawn games, a petting zoo, a photo booth, and more!

Ilze and Tycho bucked a ton of Dutch traditions with their many wedding celebrations. They held their wedding ceremony at the city counsel, their reception in a pub in Vlaardingen, and then had a party at a camping farm in Geldrop, Netherlands.
