DIYing some details is one thing, but this couple self-catered, had all DIY decor, and the bride made and embroidered her own gown. Plus, the groom actually composed and recorded the ceremony music himself! Add in their multicolored theme with the goal of an informal food and games afternoon, and you're in for a treat. 
These two eco-friendly, tea-loving cuties had a DIY-filled ceremony and reception in a church with a cupcake bar and a live music jam session. Family is really important to them and it totally shows in the details. Plus, Charis' groom's two left feet are adorable. 
Two people are drawn together by samba and the result is a music and dance-filled soiree worthy of the name. Their smiles are infectious and almost every picture is full of what can only be described as joy. Check out the event that had these two dancing up and down the aisles and into the reception, where feather-clad dancers joined them. 
Sometimes couples are confronted with traditions they love and offbeat trends they love, and somehow have to meld it all into a cohesive celebration. These two did that and more. Take special note of the amazing DIY doily archway, the intricate centerpieces, and the tear-filled groom — *swoon.* Come for the lawn games, stay for the sentiment of the group poetry reading. 
A messed up bustle, RSVP stress, and last minute wedding party changes didn't get these ladies down. They pulled off a lovely party in a historic inn with rustic Autumn details, customized Converse, and a wedding party in white. 
BAFTA, 20th Century Theatre, getting ready at The Ritz… can I come? Oh, and prepare yourself for the burlesque show, the aerial silks show, and the multitude of performances. This is a seriously glammed-up wedding with major music cred. 
The Buffy theme for the processional, the Dexter theme for the cake cutting… already I'm totally down with this. Add in their Corpse Bride and Flubber decor (yep, I said Flubber) and you've got yourself a Halloween-y shindig fit for any pop culture geek. Just another awesome entry into Halloween Week!
