Our offbeat wedding at a glance: As a thrifty couple on a budget, we immediately determined that we should a) get out of town to reduce costs, b) make it as easy as possible for our family and friends to gather, and c) do as much as we could ourselves.

This wedding is full of eye candy including mug centerpieces with nesting doll favors, handmade clutch purses for the bridesmaids that matched their colorful shoes, and an adorably accurate custom cake topper on their rainbow dot cake! It was obvious that this wedding would be full of music, dashes of crafty goodness, and lots of love. There are also some key bits of advice in this one, including putting a time limit on your ring warming!

After a little snafu keeping their venue, this pair rocked the beach with their monster movie details, lush dessert buffet, and vows written by the wedding party. Plus, the groom had an additional challenge when removing the garter: the bride's cowboy boot-shaped rain boots!

An outdoor barbecue with lots of beer and lots of dancing sounds pretty awesome. But add in a surprise officiant (the bride's adorable grandfather!) and you've got some real sweetness going on. Plus, the hot Texas weather took a break just for the day. The stars aligned for this lovely spring theme week wedding.

Everything is bigger there, so why not have bigger fun in Texas? A mechanical bull and the antics that accompany it fit the bill perfectly. A camera-mugging daughter and some first-time cowboy two-steppers round out this rainy, Texas-sized wedding.

It's a good thing the mothers convinced these two to get a tent or they'd have been playing in the puddles all night long. But no parades were rained on, and the party was started with a pig roast, a giant cinnamon roll, some personal touches, and a roaming kitteh. You will like this adorable Virginia wedding on a budget.

These two were not getting married — no way, no how. Except then they did, which made the whole shebang offbeat in itself. On top of that, they opted for a casual, outdoor ceremony with some kick-ass barbecue afterwards from the local joint they love. It was simple, small, and perfect for these two, who exemplify our simple weddings week.

This couple decided one day wasn't enough, so they crafted an entire weekend of fun for their crew with a 5K, a barbecue, and bike rides. Somehow they managed all this while DIYing almost all of the elements of this gorgeous farm wedding.
