Here's a gorgeous shot of Raina to inspire all of you autumn brides.

I extra-love this photo because Raina is wearing her Mom's wedding dress. Lemme tell you, offbeat brides rock the vintage like no othas.

The whole set's a dream, really … including this awesome "you may now kiss the bride" photo. Hopefully I'll have more info about this wedding soon! All I can tell you for now is that they got married in a library in upstate NY.

I'm betting that many of you are mulling over your Fall 2007 weddings, and I have to say: dude, CLOAKS. I've become a big fan of the wedding cloaks and capes. This shot is of an old friend of mine, Susannah, wearing a gold-lined ultra suede cloak at her fall 2002 wedding. (There's more about Susannah's Dia de los Muertos wedding in Offbeat Bride.) I loved Suz's striped tights and boots, too, but this post is about capes. I must focus.

Anyway, if you're worried about staying warm at your wedding, definitely consider a cloak. I love this elvin style cape, and then there's the adorable Little Red Briding Hood.
