Submit your wedding to Offbeat Wed

Submit your wedding for publication consideration

VENDORS, THIS FORM IS NOT FOR YOU.
This is for couples submitting their wedding stories.

Vendor submissions

Thanks for your interest in sharing your wedding with us! Although we can't feature every wedding submitted, we love reading every single one.

Important things to understand before you submit your wedding:

  • If we accept your submission, it can be several months before we publish your profile.
  • Profiles are often edited for length and clarity.
  • If your wedding is published, we will do our best to email you when the post goes up. Please understand that we are a very small team, and that we're not able to email before the post is published.
  • When you submit your wedding and your story, you are giving us permission to publish what you share. Please don't submit anything you're not comfortable putting out into the world! This means stuff like please don't bad-mouth your family members or share private vows that your partner doesn't want others to see, etc.
  • By submitting a post, you and your photographer and any other featured vendors are agreeing to our Terms of Use including our policies regarding copyright and user content. Please make sure you get your photographer's permission before submitting to our site.
  • Note that we do request three months of editorial exclusivity after publication.

Let's do this!

Your wedding profile

The first few questions are required, but the later questions are optional.

  • Just your first name is fine.
  • This will NOT be shared externally – we'll use it to notify you when your profile goes up!
  • Just their first name is fine.
  • If you and/or your partner have an Instagram or TikTok account, we'd love to include it!
  • Be specific – not just city and state, but also the name of the venue. Include the website for the venue if you have one!
  • Enter month, date, and year.
    MM slash DD slash YYYY
  • Give us a short description (you'll be able to give the whole story later in this form). For example, Ariel would describe her wedding as an “Island hippie/raver forest freak-fest.” We'll likely work this into the title of your profile!
  • Your wedding photos

  • Give us your favorite 50 photos! Photos should be sized at no wider than 1080 pixels. Give us a link to Dropbox, Google Drive, etc. where we can download them. If you hired a photographer, they can likely give you a link+password that you can share with us.
  • We need to make sure photographers are always attributed and linked! Please give us the name/business name of your primary wedding photographer. Feel free to let us know what you liked about working with them!
  • Tell us the URL for the photographer's website and/or Instagram account.
  • By checking this box, you confirm that you've secured permission from your photographer to submit your photos for publication. We suggest talking to with your photographer to see if they've submitted the wedding somewhere else.
  • Of course you can share your wedding story with whoever you want, but we like to respect other bloggers by not reproducing weddings they've posted. If we decide to feature your wedding, we'll email you to check that it hasn't already appeared elsewhere.
  • Only if you'd like this included!
  • Now, the fun stuff!

Here's where you get to tell us all about your wedding!
  • Tell us about everything that led up to the big day. How did you meet? How did you decide what the location/theme/timing would be? Who helped you plan and prepare? Were there any unexpected challenges?
  • Spare no detail, from start to finish! Also: we (and our readers) would LOVE to read your vows and be inspired 🙂
  • The food, the music, the cake, the vibe – let us know how it all went down!
  • What was your biggest challenge – emotionally or logistically – and how did you overcome it? What advice would you like to share with Offbeat Wed readers based on your experience?
  • Give us a list of all the vendors who made it all happen, including online vendors who you purchased from: their business name, as well as their website. Give us their Instagram account too if they have one!
  • On Offbeat Wed, we tag posts with identity descriptors like “nonbinary” or “neurodivergent” to help readers navigate the site and find content that relates to them. If one of these identities figured into your wedding planning and is something you talk about in the profile, do you want to apply any of these identity tags to you, your partner, or your wedding?
  • If none of the tags above describe you, your partner, or wedding, enter your own here!
