This wedding wasn't about dancing or put-on formality. Instead, it was about good old fashioned FUN and a whole lot of games. One of the main events was having all the guests help build a Rube Goldberg machine (think the game of Mouse Trap).

As photographer Kyle Hepp tells us, the guests flew in from all over the world to celebrate the marriage of Ashley, an Illinois native, and Graham, who is from the UK.

Also included: a pop quiz about the couple, homemade cookies and milk, a ceremony officiated by “The Rev for Whatev,” jump ropes, giant dominoes, and tons of toys. Take a peek at the photos capturing the celebration.

  1. I love it! This looks so fun – foam dominoes, milk & cookies and a Rube Goldberg machine? Brilliant!

  2. Aw, this was awesome! And I kind of love the fact that people had to help out with the machine. It’s like marriage! Starts off with a couple rings, but can’t just happen by itself. Sometimes it needs a little push… 🙂

  3. What a lovely and funtastic day! Love all of the elements you thought up, esp. the Rube Goldberg machine. Congratulations you two creative cats! 🙂

  4. Wow, so exciting to see this wedding featured here, thank you!!!

It was SUCH a fun night to be a part of. Ashley and Graham really did an awesome job of making this wedding about them and what they like and what their friends and family like, rather than worrying about fitting the mold. I loved every second of it!
