We could go on, but hey, we've got the whole story from the bride! Let's take a peek at all the details plus lots of commentary from the couple…

9 painted wedding dress masterpieces you have to see to believe

I basically told the gals at RMINE that I wanted a dress that "looked like a unicorn sneezed on it." And they whipped out their paint brushes, and worked into the night, until the store smelled of fresh paint and their floors looked like a unicorn had been slaughtered on them. And they gave me this beauty!

Embroidery, lush bouquets, and a steak cake — this handmade wedding is stitched onto our hearts

With their family heirlooms and eclectic style, this was a seriously gorgeous handmade wedding full of DIY, from embroidered table centerpieces (including an “I know” Star Wars Millennium Falcon!) to homemade preserves made by the groom. Brittney and Roger are feisty, lovable, culinary travelers who love good company and good food. That combination is gold for a wedding.

A castle, a snowboarding bride, and a punk rock wedding on the slopes

Madison and Aaron had a winter wedding filled with pink leggings, a snowboarding bride, a rowdy group of howling groomsmen, and loud punk music filling the air. Instead of walking down the aisle, Madison snowboarded through it! After a few photos on the ice caved shore of Lake Michigan, the crew headed to their castle reception(!) where the partying began in earnest. Later in the night, the party shifted to a punk rock celebration. Hell yes it did! You'll want to see this wintry, punk rock wedding on the slopes…

"We are getting hitched as the moon passes between the sun and Earth during the Great American Eclipse on August 21, 2017."

Celestial events range from common phenomena like full moons to awesome-looking, much less frequent occurrences such as meteor showers and eclipses to awe-inspiring, rare miracles like the planets aligning. Can we book a last-minute wedding photographer for our elopement?

My partner and I want to elope, but he's not one for planning ahead. I love his spontaneity, but it doesn't allow for things like hiring an awesome photographer to capture our day for us. How do we go about finding a last-minute wedding photographer on short notice? Or should we plan for a post-wedding photo shoot instead?

This bride altered her original wedding gown for her gorgeous vow renewal

My husband, Anindeep, and I came to our tenth wedding anniversary very much different people than we were so long ago, now personally and emotionally more enriched. We decided a vow renewal was necessary to celebrate ourselves in this new chapter in realizing our individual selves and expressing our togetherness more meaningfully to each other.

Photography (duh) and fashion are priorities for me, so with NO attire budget and exponentially growing dressmaking skills, I suddenly found the confidence to alter my own wedding gown.

How to make antiqued paper for your historical or fantasy wedding

We're getting married next month and having a pirate-themed wedding. Any bits of paper we needed (whether invitations, signs, or treasure-hunt clues) I decided to make look old and pirate-y.

This technique would also be great for medieval, historical, steampunk, fantasy, or Victorian themes. Some of you may have done something like this at school, but this is such a simple yet effective bit of DIY I just had to share it!

How to make cardboard face cut-outs for your photo booth

We've long loved the idea of having far-flung guests or pets cameo at your reception with cut-outs of their faces. It's pretty easy: a print-out, a craft stick, and some glue. But what if you want a BIG face instead? You might see them at concerts and of course, in photo booths!

Big cardboard head cut-outs are easy enough to make if you've got the time and aren't already overburdened with DIY projects. Here's how to make cardboard face cut-outs…
