I've done posts about wedding boots before, but this time I wanted to take a slightly different tack… toward lower-heeled, more comfortable options.

I tried to limit my selections to heels with heights of less than three inches (…I didn't always succeed), focusing on styles that had a hint of formality while still being as loud and funky as I always like to feature. Lots of victorian options

I've got everything here from uber-femme brocaded floral booties all the way to androngynous glittered ankle boots to ass-stomping shit-kickers. Because (sing it with me!), “The boots were made for wedding…”

Comments on Low-heeled wedding boots

    • Agreed. They’re a lot of awesome boots, but I think the cut-off to count as low-heeled is more like <2" or mayyybe <2.5" which is… half these boots? 2.5" is enough that my feet are sore after a few hours! Sometimes platforms can be comfortable if the platform makes the difference in height between the toe and heel 2" or less (then overall height can still be more).

      • I would put the cut off at 1- 1 1/2 inches for low heals. The hubs is shorter and anything more than that constitutes a high heel for me!

    • Perhaps I should just rename the post to “Wedding boots I love, the end.” 😉

  1. I know this post was for the boots, but I’m really digging the random bonus shoe!

  2. booooots. I really need to break in my docs, they are so squeeky!
Black with rainbow ribbons! I can’t stop talking about them!

  3. I love the spat pair & immediately pulled out my credit card to order….Then I was reminded for the umphthousandth time….shoe makers, sellers & bargains constantly “forget” about the existance of STYLISH women with well-endowed feet. I am proudly 5’8 with size 10.5 feet. The very idea that people with larger feet might need half sizes like the rest of the population? Forget it! I wonder if shoe fashion will be the last frontier in the body acceptance & plus size fashion movement? Cause I am tired of size 9 & 10 being where the hot-stylish shoe options grind to a halt.
