How to throw a joint bachelor/bachelorette party at a baseball game #Parties & Showers#bachelor party#bachelorette party August 18 | Guest post by Marissa Photos by Victor Trejo Getting married in your thirties can be different than getting married in your twenties. Most of our friends are couples, and we all share in the enjoyment of each other's company. There are no "his" friends and "her" friends, they are simply "our friends." Add in our 10-month-old daughter, and the need for typical bachelor and bachelorette parties goes right out the window. We had front row seats right down the first baseline. The team mascot, Parker, stopped by to wave hello. Our names flashed on the Jumbotron and were announced over the loud speaker. The whole stadium cheered for us. Our friends even incorporated our superhero wedding theme into the festivities with homemade party hats (complete with our own wedding hashtag), temporary tattoos, and asking everyone to wear superhero shirts. There were even fireworks after the game. And then we all went to the beer garden next door to the stadium and continued our celebration until closing. We felt like celebrities for the night! It was truly one of the best moments of our lives and made us look forward to sharing our wedding day with these wonderful people all that much more. Show/Hide comments [ 2 ] Wooh! Baseball game bachelor/ bachelorette parties! My husband and I had been pretty anti-bachelor/bachelorette party during our wedding planing. We both work in the bar business and have strong opinions about them. But our friends really wanted to throw one for us. Luckily my best friend came to the rescue and organized the best event ever. A co-wed bachelor party of pre-gaming at one of our bars, a Nationals ball game, and an after party of people watching and beer drinking. My friends still refer to it as the best bachelorette they have ever been too. 1 agrees Reply My fiance and I are not into bachelor/bachelorette parties either, so I'm glad to hear yours was just right!
