  1. While I agree that the pencils are cute as hell, a word of caution. I had a friend who did her save the dates like that and there were two unforeseen consequences. A. The postage to mail them was double what she had anticipated because of the extra weight of the pencil. B. It’s no secret that USPS doesn’t always handle mail with the utmost care so about a quarter of her guests ended up with broken pencils upon delivery. 🙁
