Just letting the world see this awesome green tea-length wedding dress #Fashion Porn#birdcage veil#custom dress#green dress#sparkly shoes#uk#winter May 14 | Chris Wolfgang mswolfgang Photos by: FunkyPixel Photography Photos by FunkyPixel Photography What is it about red hair and green dresses that is just so delicious? When I saw Clare's emerald-green, tea-length wedding dress, I wanted to know all the details. She and Ian got married in the UK's Tunbridge Wells last February, and Clare rocked an ensemble custom made by Chrissie Nicholson-Wild from Curve Couture. She topped off the look with some family heirloom jewelry, a second-hand bolero, and custom-made, sparkly high heels. Where are my British brides at? Y'all might want to take a close look. A serious corset was a must, and green is my favourite colour… I had five or six design visits and fittings with Chrissie, with plenty of emails in between! I utterly adore the finished result. If you think you can't afford to have your dress designed and made for you, then you might be pleasantly surprised! -Clare Vendors Band: Mr Zenn • Boyswear: Moss Bros • Bridesmaids: SanDesign • Cake: Let Them Eat Cake • Dress: Chrissie Nicholson-Wild at Curve Couture • Flowers: Belle Fleur Florists • Makeup: Jennie Parker • Menswear: Cheeks in Bexley • Photobooth: Piccy Booth • Photography: FunkyPixel Photography • Shoes: Charlie Co • Stationery: Liz Moxham • Veil: Lilybella • Venue: High Rocks, Tunbridge Wells Reporter Name * Reporter Email * Original text Enter the original text here. Actually that is the colour I am dying my wedding dress after the big day. Red heads belong in green dresses 🙂 10 agree Reply It is such a beautiful combination. My grandparents were married for 58 years and for all of those years my grandfather lovingly told the story of the day he met the brilliant, beautiful red head in a green dress. I wish this couple as much love and happiness as they had. I'm already considering a colorful dress for our wedding and now I think I might try on a few green ones… 2 agree Reply Gorgeous! I love it. 2 agree Reply Love the green dress, with the white brides maid dresses! This bucks "tradition" in all of the ways I love <3 3 agree Reply It's no mystery! Red and green are complimentary colors, so of course red heads all look amazing in green! And this is no exception. She looks beautiful! The underskirt really tops it off though. Cannot get enough of those ruffles! 4 agree Reply Holy crap I am verklempt by pretty. Gorgeous! 2 agree Reply What a lovely color combination! I have major admiration for anyone picking a really bold alternative to a white dress like that. 🙂 2 agree Reply Aw thanks guys!! I was having a moan last week about how it feels like the wedding is all finished with now, and this has made my week 🙂 8 agree Reply Related to post-wedding moaning: http://offbeatbride.com/post-wedding-boredom-goals 🙂 2 agree Reply Totally! I've embarked on a couple of projects but I think post-wedding syndrome is definitely a thing 🙂 2 agree Reply Clare, your hair looks gorgeous – did you have shorter hair or longer? I can't tell if it's an up-do or short curls. Any chance I could get a few close-up photos? Vintage-y redhead here as well 🙂 Reply Hey Liz, my hair's about shoulder length but I had a couple of clip-in extensions to add some bulk as my hair's really fine! If you drop me an email (email@example.com) I'll ping you over some more pics! Reply Clare, when I saw your wedding look I fell in love with it! It's exactly what I was looking for. So, I'll be wearing an emerald green halter neck dress I've seen to buy online, with a white feather bolero I've seen on the high street, along with some gold sparkly shoes (which are currently out of stock!) and I'm going to wear a gold sparkly headband. I'm a brunette with natural red highlights and green/hazel eyes so I just hope I look as good in my wedding outfit as you did in yours. 1 agrees Reply It was such an awesome day, I glad Clare chose me to be her wedding photographer! I know she's on here, but honestly they are such an amazing couple to work with and the whole day was filled with love! 2 agree Reply Holy crap I am dying because that is such an incredible wedding outfit, top to bottom. Reply I know it has been said already, but that is an amazing dress! And gorgeous bouquet, it compliments the dress so well. Reply SO REFRESHING to see a bride go their own way and not conform. I LOVE color- the more the better! She looked stunning in every way! 2 agree Reply That last photo-SWOOOOON. They look like a beautiful power couple ready to take on the galaxy. 1 agrees Reply Chrissie did my wedding dress too, she is absolutely AMAZING, would recommend her to everyone. Reply That is LEGITIMATELY the most beautiful bouquet that I have EVER seen, hands down. And as a green-o-phile myself, I am SOOOOOO down for the idea of a green wedding dress. This is everything.
