Glittery shoes: the summer 2013 edition (with Oxfords for the dapper-footed!) #Wedding Shoes#flats#sparkly shoes June 14 | Ariel Meadow Stallings offbeatbride This post features offbeat affiliates, meaning that if you buy something featured, you'll be financially supporting this site's mission of bringing awesomeness to readers everywhere. Y's by Yohji Yamamoto from Zappos and Glitter By Little pump from Modcloth This certainly isn't my first day stomping down the glittering, campy road of sparkly-ass wedding shoes. Sequins! Rhinestones! Glitter! I've been down this path before. Today, however, it's not just about sky-high sparkly drag queen shoes. (Although yes, I have included a pair from RuPaul's shoe line.) Today, in addition to my usual heels and pumps, I'm making a point to include a ton of glittering Oxfords and boots for the dapper-footed among us. Because who says the femmes and drag queens should have all the mirror-ball fun?! My. *Inner 12-year-old glitter maniac goes CRAZY* Reply LOVE. The oxfords are SO awesome. 1 agrees Reply I bought those Glitter By Little heels at the top from Mod Cloth for my wedding in August! They're amazeballs. Every time I look at them, I grin. Also, they're remarkably comfortable for $60 heels. Reply I bought them for my August wedding, too, but ended up returning them, sadly. I got them for closer to $50 since ideeli was running a sale on Chelsea Crew (they're called the Glinda, FYI). Loved the shoe, but the sizing was off for my true 8.5 foot (I ordered a 40, and the 39 would have been too small). Reply I've been wandering aimlessly in the fashion desert trying to figure out my outfit for our big-deal-anniversar-party, but now I think maybe I should just build something around those flat glitter oxfords. Though I did just have to sign up for the "notify me when my size comes back" e-mail from Zappos. (Which is a fairly awesome thing I didn't know they did.) Reply Love the Y's by Yohji Yamamoto!! Something about the blue front and silver sparkly heel…Also, random bonus shoe is AWESOME – pretty sure if I didn't already have my shoes picked out, I would totally be heading over to Zappos to find these fancy footwears : ] Reply OMG random bonus shoe awesomeness! meow! Reply Hurm…the rainbow glitter flats with the ankle strap….the link is not working. Do you have a name for that shoe so I can find it!? I LOVE IT! Reply Oh man, looks like Zappos has already sold out of the Gabriella Rocha Women's Neve… but it's on 6pm.com for $32! 1 agrees Reply I love glitter shoes! These are mine, from Melanie – glitter jelly shoes! For hours of dancing in comfort with sparkly feet. Reply So… Many… SPARKLES! 🙂 Reply Daaaaaamnit, the Not Rated Over the Top oxfords do not come in my size! There is a giant gaping hole in my soul where those shoes should be. 1 agrees Reply Some of these shoes look like something you would see at a Michael Jackson themed wedding. Reply I own the bonus shoes! They're surprisingly comfortable, and I got a ton of compliments on them when I went to a wedding this weekend. They're a bit taller than they look, but I didn't mind.
