Combine your fingerprints to make a custom wedding heart logo #Invitation Porn#steal-this-idea#wedding logo June 4 | Megan Finley meggyfin Offbeat Bride Tribe member Honorarykiwi made a custom wedding logo by combining her and her partner's fingerprints and initials. Here's how she pulled this off: We covered a piece of paper with attempts at making the heart with our thumb prints (it was surprisingly hard — we have some very wonky hearts on that paper!) and scanned that into the computer. I used GIMP to add the text and make the background transparent so we can use it on any kind of background. Our initials are in Many Weatz (such a cool font with the extra swirls you can add) and the cute little heart pawprint is the fullstop from the JLR Pawrty Hearty font. It IS difficult to get it in a heart shape. In the end, hearts arn't really us anyway so we scrapped it. But I still love the idea! Reply Our friends who are getting marriage in August did this, it took them forever. Reply Now this is amazing – LOVE it! 1 agrees Reply I bet you could make card stock stencil to get a really nice heart shape 2 agree Reply What if you took each of your prints and scanned them separately, then made the transparent background, THEN made a heart with them? Wouldn't that be easier? 2 agree Reply You just blew my mind. Reply Join the conversation Cancel Reply Your email address will not be published.
