Date and location of wedding: Dairy Farm, Savannah, Georgia — November 5, 2011

Our offbeat wedding at a glance: We held both our ceremony and reception at the old dairy farm our home is adjacent to. Though it is in Savannah, it feels like you are somewhere out in the country and it's our favorite place. The dairy is private property and we were happy to gain the property owner's permission to hold our celebration there.

As fans of New Orleans and also of smaller weddings, this pair found a destination wedding to be ideal. In Jackson Square, under the shade of the palms, Bloody Mary wielded her Wiccan wonders on the ceremony that included voodoo dolls and burning parchment. After that, it was party time.

Just looking at all of the handmade flower arrangements at this wedding makes me have sympathy DIY finger pain. But man, does it look awesome. With a vintage dress made for twirling, honey favors, and beaded bouquets, this is one whimsical wedding.

Interactive invitations, balloon guitars, high-fiving, and dancing all night, despite a bride with a broken foot! But at least you can still shimmy the night away from the waist up. This wedding has a lot of color, a lot of graphic design fun, and one grandma you just can't keep down.

These two love sweets, their pug, buttons, Dexter, and each other. Take all these elements, put them in an awesome neon-clad venue, and get the games going. Just try and keep those kiddies from shooting straight for DA CANDEH BAR!

The groom's parents own a garden center, so these two jumped at the chance to have a foliage-filled space to host their wedding. With a ROYGBIV backdrop of rainbow murals and a rainbow-clad wedding party (including a wiener dog in a yellow tux), you just can't go wrong.

These two eco-friendly, tea-loving cuties had a DIY-filled ceremony and reception in a church with a cupcake bar and a live music jam session. Family is really important to them and it totally shows in the details. Plus, Charis' groom's two left feet are adorable.

It's a good thing the mothers convinced these two to get a tent or they'd have been playing in the puddles all night long. But no parades were rained on, and the party was started with a pig roast, a giant cinnamon roll, some personal touches, and a roaming kitteh. You will like this adorable Virginia wedding on a budget.
