After 11 years of being together, the timing was perfect for their dream wedding: simple and gorgeous in the country. A few touches of beer toasts, beets, and library chic, the pair crafted a really personal experience for their nearest and dearest. A Black Friday wedding with autumn colors and artistic details? I'm in. Celebrate Thanksgiving (and the craziest shopping day of the year) with this Fall wedding in Ohio featuring caramel apple favors, DIY photo booth, and one gorgeous couple. A little bit of vintage style, a whiskey box ceremony, a Princess Bride homage, and a lot of DIY make for an eclectic and heartfelt outdoor celebration. Plus they had an after party at a favorite bar for major dancing and carrying on. The matching <3 tattoos just seal the awesomeness. Sometimes you plan an intimate NOLA elopement, and sometimes life gets in the way. So when life prevented this couple from doing just that, they decided to plan an elegant hometown wedding with friends and family instead. And this beach-side family party with stone warming ceremony is just perfect for our Simple Weddings week. These two like photobooths — so much so that the groom proposed in one. So what better photobooth opportunity could there be than a costume party? The ceremony was the night before the reception so the couple could go FULL-ON costume for the party. And let me tell you, it was worth it. A ring warming, candy buffet, awesome costumes, and a hint of vintage give us a lot to love in the Halloween week entry. The Buffy theme for the processional, the Dexter theme for the cake cutting… already I'm totally down with this. Add in their Corpse Bride and Flubber decor (yep, I said Flubber) and you've got yourself a Halloween-y shindig fit for any pop culture geek. Just another awesome entry into Halloween Week! LuvFest 2010 was an amazing homespun music fest featuring live music, lawn games, bonfires, fire dancers, multi-day camping, and a little rain to cool everyone off. That isn't enough? Oh, there was a wedding too. Love was all around at this festival of killer jams and awesome vows. |
