Tribe member Deloreangrrl's groom and his friend made this save-the-date comic strip from an old Batman comic for their Alice in Wonderland-themed wedding. And these were emailed to save on postage and to be kind to the earth. This, among many other excellent photos of boots, kilts, flasks, dresses, awesome ink, and a circus tent piñata, came from our reader submissions. I love it when the Tribe, the Offbeat Flickr Pool, and the Offbeat Bride Pinterest account come though for us with this kind of eye candy.

Most Recent Posts About Monday Montage
It's a new work week and we're back to show off what the readers shared in our Monday Montage. It seemed like everyone was looking vintage fashionable and dancing. And then we're thrown for a loop by some superhero additions including superhero guests, superhero shoes (that you can actually buy), and even a Wonder Woman shoe tutorial. Let's get it started with all the best from the Offbeat Flickr Pool and the Offbeat Pinterest account. This week's reader submissions had a lot of couples jumping, driving, dancing, and cheering, and they demanded to be put together into this Monday Montage! As a bonus, I pulled in a vintage candy buffet, some "cookie sliders," and some very cool handmade vintage-style books used as invitations! You'll either be inspired to dance or be really hungry by this collection. When you start a week on a beach with no pants, you know it's going to be a good week. Sadly, we're all probably at work, pants probably mandatory. But to make up for it, I'm showing you some of my favorite reader submissions from the Tribe, the Flickr Pool, and Pinterest. This week I went a little overboard with the handmade items, but can there ever be too much? There are Legend of Zelda cake toppers, DIYed paper flowers, sweet little petal cones, and even a Han Solo in carbonite candy mold. This week we're paying homage to the academics, the bookworms, the card-carrying library loiterers, and the literati among our readers. So in addition to our usual round-up of reader submissions via Flickr and Pinterest, we're showcasing some bookish wedding details including decor made from book pages, bookish cake toppers, table numbers from vintage books, and even a Scrabble cake! Sarah and William are feeling what I'm feeling with the mix we have this week in our submissions for the Monday Montage! There is a drive-thru wedding (which was one of TEN weddings the couple had around the world), a tiki wedding, a little DIY, and some steampunk and geeky goodness. Star Wars wedding porn abounded in the Offbeat Flickr Pool and even hit our Pinterest account. There were also some stellar invitations, a cute and casual flash mob wedding in the mud, some Mass Effect earrings, and a big ol' corn dog display! Take a look-see at all the reader submissions in this week's Monday Montage. This week's Monday Montage has some , keg tapping, making out, Skyping, and some killer fashion picks from Pinterest. |
