Sometimes you have too many interests to smoosh into one wedding. Such was the case with this Aussie wedding in a lush garden. Though they ran into a few problems with vendor communication, you'd never know it by the end result. Enjoy this lovely, stylized wedding (with a bonus legal wedding!).

This couple loves Krispy Kremes, books, vintage cameras, and each other. Do you want to be their BFFs yet? They had two ceremonies (one being of the humanist persuasion), an epic candy buffet, and dress-up costumes for the reception resulting in much hilariousness. The coincidental ceremony mishap is pretty funny too. Gorgeous gardens, dark gothic formality, and amazingly dressed guests is a recipe for one stunning wedding starring one stunning couple. With little historical Victorian touches, glammed-up skeleton motifs, and an awesomely fitting reception venue, you might just fall in love with the sheer gothic sophistication of it all. Add in their Buddhist ceremony, vegan reception, and "Who's Who" board (with baby photos of everyone!), and it's a personalized party with panache. Chuck Berry, a retro-inspired wedding party to die for, and an over-enthusiastic flower girl make this Aussie wedding a 1950s shindig with panache. The birdcage veil, sky-high red heels, awesome ink, and speakeasy style make it all the better. The first wedding was in Prague with tungsten rings, the second in Israel with handcuffs. I had the biggest, goofiest grin on my face while reading about this wedding. Seeing the love at a young couple's wedding is one thing, but seeing the same big, soppy, lovey-dovey love after 20 years at a vow renewal just rocks. Kids, dogs, handmade medieval garb, and a wicked maypole brings it all together. |
