Show the kids at your wedding some extra love with heart-shaped PBJs

For their kid-friendly wedding, Joy said that a friend of theirs cut out heart-shaped PBJs, a little nod to make the kiddos feel extra welcome. I really love this idea for a couple reasons: one, it might help out a parent or two to have some kind of kid-friendly snack around before dinner is finally served. Just to avoid some "hangry." And two, I (obviously) love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I will totally sneak two or three of those in between drinks in the cocktail hour.

10 hot groomsgirls who showed us that girls rule and gender roles drool

Our Offbeat Brides are no strangers to the gender-blind wedding party, and today we're celebrating the groomsgirls, bitches. We've seen these ladies stand up next to the groom wearing suits, dresses, and ties with dresses. Every last one of them completely rocked every last look, so we rounded up a few of them so YOU can see how a groomsgirl can own this particular little style challenge.

This bride wanted to show off the urban beauty of her Connecticut hometown

I adore it when a couple wants to show off a place that's super special to them for their wedding. Barbra specifically wanted to bring out the urban beauty of her hometown of Bridgeport, Connecticut, for her August wedding with Miguel. Scroll through light-drenched, pastel photos and be amazed at the artistic value of a patched cement wall and the brilliant colors of graffiti. I love that the Caution tape isn't hidden as Barbra walks down her sidewalk aisle to marry Miguel on a public green. And the final shot with the happy couple under a street lamp at dusk? I hope that's on their wall at home somewhere.

Elegant cathedral ceremony in Italy leads to a post-wedding swim for bride and groom

Sylvia and Manuel were both ridiculously stylin' for their wedding in Italy last July. I mean, his silver suit AND THOSE SHOES? I want a pair of those shoes. Sylvia's favorite color is fuchsia, and you'll find it on her shoes, on her dress, in her hair, and on her eyelids. That is some rockstar makeup, girl! Also, are you seeing how Sylvia did her bouquet? It starts out as a corsage and wraps up her arm. My favorite thing at this wedding? POSSIBLY.

Magically elegant commitment ceremony for two Georgia brides

I love it when brides complement their wedding-day looks with each other and still do their own subtle thing. Belinda and Danielle exchanged vows in a gorgeous commitment ceremony in Georgia last April, and they've both got this ethereal glamour going on that just makes my heart jump.

I mean, it's a little formal (though one of them is sneaking around in sparkly silver high-tops underneath! LOVE) with the calla lilies and the tall vases and the romantic candle light everywhere. Everything is white and glass and crystals, even their elegant commitment art is white and lacy.
